Philippine Cosplay is Doomed
Perhaps Pinoy cosplay never had a chance in the first place, what with the overwhelming number of degenerates flocking to the coolest fad in town. But never did I imagine that it will go so low as to employ the services of a criminal and pretend it's all for fun and games.
As you can tell by looking at the poster above, the prominent piracy outlet CSCENTRL has signed up as an official partner for the Go Kaisho event.
CSCENTRL is not only a business thriving on piracy (which is not a far cry from dealing drugs), but it is also notorious as an enemy of the online anime community for stealing the hard work of fansub groups and making money off what's supposed to be free. Put simply, CSCENTRL is as rotten as fiendish thugs stealing provisions NGOs send to poor people.
Calling CSCENTRL legit and asking for its aid in hosting an event is tantamount to sucking a dirty old man's cock for college money, taking calls from irate racist Americans from night 'till dawn for minimum wage, making costumes of cartoon characters for adults for a living, selling yourself to the devil, and then some.
If Go Kaisho is any indication of things to come, the world of cosplay is doomed to spiral down the depths of hell for ingrates.
