“ COME INTO THE EXCITING WORLD OF JAPANESE MANGA AND ANIME!
Japan Creative Centre, Kyoto International Manga Museum, the Japan Foundation and Animax jointly organise this exhibition to showcase manga and anime which are important icons of Japanese pop culture to encourage a deeper understanding of the charms of Japan and her pop culture.
HISTORY OF MANGA
See the evolution of manga from post-WWII period to the present through the works of established authors and major manga titles.
ANIME & MANGA GALLERY
Check out the extensive range of anime & manga genres out there such as “adventure”, “girls’ collection”, “science fiction” and “fantasy”.
ANIME ILLUSTRATIONS
Members of the Organisation of Illustrators Council (OIC) Singapore, in collaboration with Animax, will showcase their creative works of anime illustrations. These illustrations are inspired by several of the major anime titles in the exhibition.Vsit this exhibition and receive a manga in Japanese as a gift from the collection of the Kyoto International Manga Museum.
